The founder of German Consulting Services is Oscar German, a former Chief People Officer who has over twenty-five years as a hands-on strategic senior human resource professional. He has led the human resources and HSE functions for publicly traded and private equity backed organizations. He is known for being a human resources transformational executive, strategy architect, executive coach, and change leader. Mr. German has led teams and executed projects in over 26 countries across 5 continents. He has significant experience leading and executing major projects in the areas of M&A (due diligence and integration), change management, cost containment strategies and rightsizing initiatives, talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, culture cohesion, workforce planning, HRIS implementation, employee, and industrial relations. Oscar is very experienced in working with compensation committees, board of directors, senior level executives and operational leaders. Oscar vision, leadership and strategy skills have made him successful in transforming human resources from an administrative department to a strategic business partner. He is a certified career and business coach, trainer, speaker, facilitator, ISO 9002 auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt, and senior professional human resources.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Masters in Science (Management and Leadership). He is fluent in Spanish & English with some knowledge of Portuguese. He previously was chosen as one of the top 20 Executive Role Models in the United States selected nationwide in the “Life Savers Take a Bigger Role Award.” Oscar was a semi-professional soccer player and is passionate about developing leaders, in particular the younger generation. He can be found speaking and coaching students throughout the city on leadership subjects. He is a John Maxwell Certified Team Member as a leadership and career coach, speaker, trainer, and facilitator. Oscar is married with three children, Alexis Breanna German, Summa Cum Laude graduate from Baylor University currently an actress based in Los Angeles; Nate Rai German, graduate from Rice University in Economics and where he played Division I football; Edson Santiago German, is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree.
